Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz is one of the most celebrated luxury carmakers of all time. Associated with premium vehicles since the early days, the German firm is now one of the most successful manufacturers in the luxury market. Established as Mercedes-Benz in 1926, the company goes back to the late 1800s. Founded as Benz & Cie. in 1883, it became Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft in 1890.

Although it’s mainly know for its cars, SUV, and race cars, Mercedes-Benz also manufactures commercial vans, buses, and trucks. Its current car and SUV lineup includes no fewer than 19 nameplates, some of which go back several decades. Iconic classics from the past include the 770K, 500K, 300SL, 190SL, and successors to the current S-Class, E-Class, and C-Class models. Throughout its history, Mercedes-Benz has operated factories in 30 countries spread over five continents.
