The Arch Method 143 is as evil as it gets

The new flagship for Keanu Reeves’s motorcycle company

With what started out as a custom weekend project for Hollywood’s Keanu Reeves, Arch Motorcycles has come a long way ever since it set up shop back in 2007. Joined by a self-taught engineer Gard Hollinger, the company started making production models soon and has to date made three models.

With two models in their existing lineup, Arch Motorcycles expanded their dream project with the brand new flagship model showcased at the EICMA 2017. Squarespace teams up with Arch Motorcycles for a multi-ad campaign

Squarespace, in its 14 years of existence, has become one of the biggest website manufacturing platform today. Most of its success, of course, goes to their quirky and easy templates, but their sensational marketing and weird advertising campaigns which previously included high-profile actors like Jeff Bridges and John Malkovich gave them the millions of users using its services today.

In their new adventure, Squarespace ran a 30-second commercial worth a whopping $5 million during the recently concluded high-profile Superbowl championship with one of its high-profile customer, Keanu Reeves, and his Arch Motorcycles.

Keanu Reeves Rides His Arch Motorcycles KRGT-1 in Squarspace’s Superbowl LII Ad

Reeves in his best role yet! Ok, not really.

Keanu Reeves will be in the house for Super Bowl LII. Ok, so he’s not going to be in somebody’s house, but he will be on our TVs because he’s the star of Squarespace’s Super Bowl LII commercial. In the ad, Reeves is riding an Arch KRGT-1 motorcycle, and he’s talking himself. His imagination — or is it conscience? — talks back to him in an aspirational tone, convincing him that he can do anything he wants if he sets his mind to it, including making a motorcycle and creating a website for it.

It’s not the only Reeves spot that’s going to air at the Super Bowl LII. Another ad shows him surfing the same KRGT-1 bike while sing-speaking along to Will Powers’ affirmation-heavy song “Adventures in Success.”

The two ads aren’t exactly the best Super Bowl LII ads we’ve seen so far, but they do a good job promoting both Reeves’ Arch motorcycle brand — he founded it with his friend, Gard Hollinger — and Squarespace’s own “create-a-website” service. The two parties decided to create a Super Bowl LII after Reeves used Squarespace to create the website for Arch Motorcycle. Since then, the relationship between the two companies have grown.

“There’s something about Squarespace that’s really accessible yet sophisticated,” Reeves said in a statement. “The design and functionality share a similar ethos to Arch Motorcycle. When I was approached to make this commercial, we were already using the platform, which makes it a really organic fit.”

Organic fits notwithstanding, here’s to hoping that Reeves’ commercial stands out against a crowded pack of ads from the auto industry. We’ve already seen a handful of them, including those coming from Toyota, Lexus, Kia, and Hyundai.

The bikes are yet to reach stardom and people have already started imagining them in a different genre. An Italian artist who goes by the name Oberdan Bezzi, also famously called as OBIBOI has sketched an impressive looking concept which might be expected from the Arch stable in the future.

Europe Gets To Take A Look At The Sexy Arch Bikes

What do you do when you want a certain kind of motorcycle that isn’t available from any of the current manufacturers? Why, you build it or have it built, of course. That’s exactly what Keanu Reeves did about a decade ago. What do you do when the result is pure awesome-sauce? You build a company around it. What’s next? Well according to Arch Motorcycle, you head to the Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori — more commonly known as the EICMA or simply the "Milan show" — to display your wares, and that’s exactly what the company did. Ambitious? Maybe so, but if I built rides like that I’d be pretty full of myself too.

Flagship Model That The Company Was Built Around

Arch Motorcycle’s flagship bike brings innovative design, crushing performance and artistic flair together for buyers looking for something, shall we say, a little more exclusive. Proprietary engine management components and an S&S twin-cam V-twin drive the bike with over 120 pound-feet of torque to work with, so it’s far from being just a showy curb ornament. A monster 2,032 cc engine drives this lovely beast for a bike that is as much art as it is transportation.
