It seems that there’s going to be a new kid on the Formula 1 block as Audi is reportedly announcing in early 2022 its decision to join the motorsport. They will join Mercedes-AMG as the two German brands set to compete for dominance at the most elite form of open-wheel racing.

Drag races are particularly interesting when they are between two very different cars. With this in mind, Sam CarLegion gives us another drag race between two very different Toyota products. On one side, we have the light and nimble Toyota GR Supra, while on the other, a Lexus RC-F that can best be described as a Japanese muscle car. Both cars send power to the rear axle, but that’s about all they have in common.

Hoonigan returns with another “Hoonigan vs the world” episode, where Lia Block – Ken Block’s, 14-year-old daughter races some pretty epic cars, in the Hoonicorn Mustang. This time, she’s racing a 2018 Wolf GB08 TSC-LT. One relies on power while the other on lightness. One thing both cars have in common is that both cars have conquered Pikes Peak.

Hoonigan’s YouTube channel returns with another “Hoonicorn versus the world” episode and this time it’s all on the line because the mighty Hoonicorn goes up against a Tesla Model S Plaid – the bane of many high-performance, combustion-powered vehicles. So far the Lia Block – Ken Block’s, 14-year old daughter - has been crushing it, losing only to a 2,000 horsepower Nissan GT-R. Will Tesla take another scalp or will the Hoonicorn finally put it in its place?

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Sunday, December 5, 2021, was fraught with penalties and confusion and produced an incredibly exciting result that means this season has one of the tensest endings of any Formula 1 season.

Hoonigan has been staging some of the craziest drag races, seen on YouTube. As part of the channel’s “This vs That” series, we now get “Hoonicorn vs the World” – a series of drag battles, where Ken Block’s teenage daughter – Lia Block – who is only 14, rocks the 1,400-horsepower Mustang, known as the Hoonicorn. In the previous episode, Lia Block raced an NHRA C6 Corvette and now, she’s going up against a Hoonicorn-inspired, 2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta twin-turbo.

Ever since the fifth-generation Ford Mustang was launched back in 2015, the muscle car proved itself of being quite a successful race car. During its six-year lifetime, the current Mustang won many racing series, putting the Chevrolet Camaro in second place.

Ford announced the next-generation Mustang GT Gen3 Supercar at Mount Panorama, right before the 2021 Bathurst 1000. Both the Mustang Supercar and the Camaro did a series of display laps during the race before getting ready for an intense testing session throughout 2022.

Carwow has been synonymous with staging some of the most exciting drag races, more often than not, between stock, production cars. However, the same YouTube channel, occasionally gives us a proper comparison between two high-performance vehicles – in this case, the new BMW M3 Competition and Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm.

Right after Nissan unveiled the 2023 Z sports car, Jonsibal came with a rendering for the future GT 500 race car. And guess what? Now that Nismo and Nissan finally unveiled the "production version" GT 500, we have to admit, Jonsibal was very close to the reality. The 2022 GT 500 race car was unveiled at the Fuji International Speedway and will be raced in the 2022 Super GT Series.

Next to the 2022 SR10, Radical Sportscars is also updating the 2022 SR3 XX - the first production race car to be offered with AiM’s new solid-state technology. After being launched for the first time back in May 2020, the SR3 XX is updated for the 2022 model year with a ’halo’ head protector designed in to FIA specifications. There are also a few other new safety features, more standard and optional equipment, and enhanced cockpit ergonomics. Both the SR10 and the SX3 XX will be offered as part of Radical’s 25th anniversary and are now available for order. Deliveries will start in the first quarter of 2022.

Carwow is back with another one of its epic drag races and this one actually makes quite a bit of sense. Ever since the Alpine A110 S came out, we have been wondering how the French mid-engine sports car would fare against some of the hottest sports cars, currently on sale. The British YouTube channel provides the answer, courtesy of a Porsche 718 Cayman GTS and a Toyota GR Supra.

There are people out there who can be considered emissaries of motorsport. One of these people was Sir Frank Williams who, sadly, passed away yesterday on November 28, at the age of 79. The boss of Williams F1 was the epitome of a petrol head and devoted much of his life to motoring. The world of motorsports will certainly be an emptier place without him, but his legacy will remain.

It debuted on 23 June 2021 and, despite its transversely-mounted engine, it promises an engaging driving experience, combined with perfect daily usability. Porsche is on a row, as it announces special editions of its 911 and 718 models. At this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show they, once again, introduced a track-only version of the Cayman, called the GT4 RS Clubsport. The mid-engine race car from Weisscach is based on the Porsche 718 GT4 RS, which also debuts on this year’s auto exhibition, in Los Angeles.

Bob Bondurant who left an indelible legacy in American and international motorsport, died last weekend on, Friday in Paradise Valley, Arizona, at the age of 88.

The Porsche 911, in all its versions, is one of the most definitive sports cars of all time. With this in mind, Porsche’s “Sonderwunsch” (special request) program occasionally spawns some truly epic versions, based on the rear-engine sports car. Such is the case with this Porsche 992 GT3 “956 Edition”.

The Tesla Model S Plaid has shamed so many beloved supercars and sports cars in the past on the drag strip. It is arguably one of the hottest factory cars when it comes to drag racing. And, it only seems to be the start. The Plaid has been spied repeatedly with an Aero Package that will only improve its track and straight-line performances. While we wait for that to come, the standard Plaid has been continuing its dominance, this time taking down a 700-horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo S Other than the Rimac Nevera, is there any other worthy opponent for the Plaid right now?

We are very glad they do since today we have another epic stand-off between two high-horsepower machines in the “This vs That” series. “This” is a Bentley Continental GT Pikes Peak and “That” is a stock-looking, but highly modified Honda Civic Type R.
