Everything about it is legendary, from the course itself to the men and women who race there. Mere mortals can’t quite comprehend how they do it and these books go some way to try to help that understanding.

After a fruitions partnership with American motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson, Lego turned its attention to Italy and teamed up with Ducati for its latest Technic set. The result, just like the Fat Boy Creator set, is one that leaves us drooling and eager to tell you more about it.
Yamaha Paper Crafts now gets the YA-1 to celebrate the 20th anniversary
Back in 1997, Yamaha challenged our building skills when launched a pretty neat form of Origami, the art of paper folding. They called it the “Paper Crafts.” Every now and then, they release a bunch of new Paper craft motorcycle models where one can print out, cut and assemble these paper figures. As easy as it may sound, trust me, they are more complicated than your understanding of the universe.
For its 20th anniversary, Yamaha PaperCrafts have recreated Yamaha Motor Co’s first motorcycle, the 1955 YA-1, as an Ultra-Realistic Paper Craft. There are two editions there: a standard edition for us puny ignorants and a special edition for those who have mastered the art of origami.
Triumph’s special ’Dapper Bonnie DGR100’ turns out to be a really special gesture.
After seeing a smart sharply-dressed chap astride a vintage classic motorcycle, Australian Mark Hawwa etched a grand plan to banish the negative take on biker image and started up a charity event in 2012 called as ’Movember’. it raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and suicide prevention and was attended by 2,500 dapper ladies and gentlemen.
For this 2017 chapter, British legendary motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph, was the official DGR motorcycle partner. They created a one-off custom T100 Bonneville christened as the Triumph ‘Dapper Bonnie DGR100’ and was ridden across London’s finest establishments by Phil Green, an A&E nurse who was diagnosed with prostate cancer seven years ago.
As a surprise gesture, Triumph asked Phil to take the special Bonnie back home with him since it was his to keep.
Indian Motorcycles has launched a partnership with businessman Phil Zanghi of Debonaire Cigars to launch a new collection of Indian-branded cigars in time for the 2015 Trade Show of the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association.
For those who didn’t know, there is such a thing as a convention for cigar and pipe retailers. Zanghi himself is no stranger to such events and after reacquiring the Indian Tabac Cigar Company trademark last November 2014, he decided to launch a new brand called Indian Tabac Motorcycle Ultra Premium Cigars.
The new brand is actually a collaboration between his company and Polaris Motorcycles, which owns Indian Motorcycles. Together, the two set a plan to launch a new line of cigars that fit into Indian Motorcycles’ ethos as one of America’s oldest motorcycle brands.
The newly formed Indian Tabac Motorcycle Ultra Premium Cigars brand plans to launch two new blends at the trade show, one using an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and the other with a Connecticut broadleaf maduro. Each blend will also come in four different sizes - robusto, toro, Churchill and toro gordo - and will cost anywhere from $6 to $8 per cigar in 20-count boxes.
I’m not a cigar smoker so I honestly have no clue what that all meant. That said, the cigars are expected to become available in specialty stores after the event, although there has been no announcements on whether they’ll be for sale in Indian Motorcycle dealerships. We’re going to have to wait for word on that.

Tissot is headed to Austin, Texas to partake in the weekend-long festivities of the Red Bull Circuit of the Americas Grand Prix where it will be showcasing two new limited edition watches it created in collaboration with MotoGP and 2006 world champion Nicky Hayden.
The Swiss watchmaker has had a long-standing relationship with both Hayden and MotoGP. These partnerships have given birth to some pretty incredible watches in the past and from what the two watches look like, Tissot has done it again.
The Tissot T-Race Nicky Hayden 2015 and the Tissot T-Race MotoGP Limited Edition 2015 timepieces will be showcased at the company’s sponsored event, which will be held at the Grand Plaza in the afternoon of April 11, 2015. In addition to launching the pair of limited edition watches, Tissot will also give fans and attendees the chance to meet Nicky Hayden himself!
As far as the watches are concerned, Tissot created two knockout limited editions as per usual. The T-Race Nicky Hayden gets the predictable green treatment, an ode to the team colors of Hayden’s Aspar racing team. The black-and-green combination has a coolness to it, matched only by the striking detail of the T-Race watch that it’s based on. You’ll also notice that Hayden’s famous star emblem is present in the counter at 6 o’clock, around the indices, and on the second hand, further creating that personalized touch that has been a trademark of the 10-year partnership between Tissot and Nicky Hayden. It’s unclear how many pieces of the T-Race Nicky Hayden 2015 Tissot plans on releasing, but at a price of $925, this particular limited edition timepiece will cost you more than a pretty penny.
I don’t normally advocate making impulse purchases of items with hefty price tags, but I would make an exception for the T-Race Nicky Hayden 2015, or you know, the other limited edition timepiece Tissot will present this weekend.

I think I’m not the only one who has a predisposed disdain for coffee rings. That much I’m confident of saying, and I think I share this sentiment with a majority of coffee drinkers. But there are some people like Carter Asmann who actually like coffee rings. Why? I don’t know.
But Asmann is a notable exception because he not only finds good use for these coffee rings, but he actually makes money out of it. Go figure.
Asman is, of course, an artist. He’s a pretty good one, too, as evidenced by the works he’s created over the years. One of his signatures, though, is using coffee rings as part of his motorcycle drawings. Care to guess what he uses them as? Wheels!
What he does is use this rings and then draws around them, creating these vivid images of motorcycles that are incredibly impressive to look at. The details are impressive, especially with the way he somehow manages to blend the rings with the sketches he creates.
There’s a lot to be said for that kind of attention-to-detail and Asman manages to capture it in a pretty unique way. Who knew coffee rings could have a place in the world of art?

Have you ever had that desire to own a motorcycle without thinking about actually riding it? It’s a pretty expensive item to own, but there are some people who think like that. Trust me, I know a few of them myself.
Well, British company Full Size Kits seems to have found a way for these people to continue with their hobbies without actually spending a lot of money to do it. The answer comes in the form of what Full Size Kits is describing as the world’s first full-size motorcycle model kits.
Made mostly form plastic, these kits come with over 180 vacuum-formed parts that, get this, are of the same size as the real parts found in real motorcycles. What’s even more impressive is that these kits can be assembled with what it calls a “unique sit-on feature.”
In other words, the kit is strong enough that you can actually sit on it as if you’re actually riding it. Pretty neat, huh?
Right now, Full Size Kits is only selling one model, appropriately called the Route 66 Classic and is basically a design replica of a typical classic American chopper.
The kits are currently being sold at a price of £525. That’s about $810 based on current exchange rates. Remember that the kit only goes on sale sometime around April 2015. But if you’re interested, you can already make a reservation as early as now.

So you thought car manufacturers are the only ones that can get dibs on getting watches built for them? Think again, ladies and gentlemen, because the Honda CBX1000 Speedometer is here to prove you wrong. Inspired by the iconic 1979 Honda CBX1000, the wristwatch is the perfect complement to the lucky few in this world who still have a functioning CBX1000 inside their garages. But even if you don’t have the bike itself, that doesn’t mean you can’t own the watch.
The CBX1000 Speedometer comes with a simple layout. The leather straps are about as classic as it gets while the black face and the orange and white numerical displays evoke images of the speedometers Honda used on the actual CBX1000 models. The watch also comes in two configurations depending on the region. Those who are more familiar with the km/h measurement unit can opt to get the version that uses the system for its markings. Likewise, those in the US who recognize the mph measurement unit can get that style of the watch.
Either way, the classic styling of the timepiece, which is what you could expect from a watch inspired by one of the classiest bikes Honda has ever built. It might be a little confusing since the traditional 1 to 12 numbers have been replaced by kmh and mph markings (the kmh version runs up to 240 km/h while the mph version runs up to 150 mph).
Other notable details about the watch include the odometer, which has been set to 1047, representing the displacement of the CBX. The watch also comes with a Swiss part quartz movement and is water resistant for up to 5 bars, or 72 psi if you’re more familiar with the latter measurement.
The watch only costs €119, plus €10 in shipping fees. That converts to a total of around $150, which isn’t really as expensive as some of the more opulent collaborations we normally see from Italian automakers and Swiss watchmakers. I’m referring to you, Ferrari and Hublot.

Kids are probably winding down from their summer vacation, but there’s still time to get in on a little bit of fun before returning to school. So, what can you do? Round out the summer with a little Ducati motorcycle produced by Peg Perego.
The Ducati mini motorcycle is designed for children from the age of 6 years and up, and can hit a top speed of about 10 mph. Remember, it’s your children’s safety we are talking about here, so a helmet is mandatory!

Contrary to what that the first image can suggest, Motorbike King is not a game of motorbike on the track like Tourist Trophy for example. It is really an urban racing game where you have to take control of a biker who must win the races against an opponent in order to earn money to customize his bike.
This is certainly not the most beautiful game that may exist, and the difficulty lies more in the sense of direction that you will develop (or not) than in the technical nature of the (...)
