2017 - 2019 Aprilia Dorsoduro 900

It’s Aprilia’s "Fun Bike"

Aprilia’s Dorsoduro line added to its stable for MY2017 with the all-new Dorsoduro 900. This supermoto-inspired ride serves as the successor to the popular Dorsoduro 750. It brings over 95-horsepower to the table with a ride-by-wire throttle, variable power delivery, traction control and ABS to help riders cope with the extra power. Not only does this show a certain amount of model-maturity, but it promises some security and safety for those who would use it in their day-to-day riding. Officially billed as a sportbike-supermotard hybrid, the factory also refers to it as “the fun bike.”

2019 - 2021 Ducati Hypermotard 950 / 950 SP

2019 - 2021 Ducati Hypermotard 950 / 950 SP

A new look, lighter weight, improved technology, and more horsepower adds up to more fun

Ducati revamped its Hypermotard range ahead of MY2019 with the 950 and 950 SP to replace its outgoing Hypermotard 939 models. The new 950 borrows from the supermotard world for general design and rocks sharper angles for a more aggressive look. The 950 dropped some weight compared to its predecessor and replaced it with ponies for greater performance across the board, and the “SP” comes with top-shelf suspension and wheels, plus an expanded electronics suite and carbon fiber components to sweeten the deal. The hooligan-bike sector isn’t what you’d call the most populated by any means, but I’ve already got some potential competitors in mind for Ducati’s newest jackass bikes.

The BSF of the Indian army created four stunt riding records in one month

Atop 350cc Royal Enfields

Breaking motorcycle stunt records is nothing new for the Border Security Force (BSF) of the Indian army. Apart from being the country’s first line of defense, they also indulge in some motorcycle trick riding that started way back in 1990. BSF’s ’Janbaz’ was created in 1990, and they are famous for displaying their gravity-defying stunts and breaking their own previous records.

In the month of April 2018 alone, the Janbaz troop set four motorcycle stunt records, all of which were performed on their darling 350 CC Royal Enfield motorcycles-the face of stunt riding for the BSF. The stunts include longest riding on a ladder/pole, longest riding backward, longest riding while standing and carrying troops.

Video: Rider saves himself after a 130 mph speed wobble

Tank Slappers, steering wobbles, shimmy, speed wobble, and even death wobble are all names of the same dangerous situation that can happen to any motorcycle rider, especially for all the sportsbike fanatics. That is not at all a nice feeling when out of nowhere your bike starts wobbling like a maniac and there is very little that you could do.

That is exactly what happened to this bloke here who was caught on a GoPro footage taken by fellow motorcyclists while they were doing a high-speed freeway run. At 130 mph, his Ninja ZX-6R started wobbling heavily leaving the rider with no control of the bike for several hundred meters before the bike slowed back down and the rider gained control.

Video: Man does the world first’ wheelie across an Auckland bridge

NOTE: We do not endorse/promote stunt riding on public roads. Keep yourself and other road users safe. Always consider safety first and wear a helmet and all riding gear.

In a project aptly called as “Wheelie King”, Japanese Masaru Abe pulled off the longest wheelie on a two-wheeler creating a record that now stands at an incredible distance of 311 miles. It was done on a closed course, rather a pre-created track just for this feat under marshals and all safety factors are taken into considerations.

Then there is this guy, just like all spoilt brats out there attempting the wheelie on public roads – across Auckland’s Harbour Bridge exactly. It is apparently the ’world first’ wheelie across the span of the mile-long bridge. But he is, however, facing the heat from the authorities for this act.

Video: Robbie William is riding the heaviest wave on his motorcycle

For someone who is nicknamed ’Maddo’, this Australian stunt rider sure carries a million mad feats under his cap. He has already won numerous international FMX events around the world and has been recognized as one of the best FMX riders of all time. He also holds multiple motorbike stunt records and has acted in several action flicks as the motorcycle stuntman.

Now, Robert William ’Robbie’ Maddison has set his eyes on creating another record. He wants to become the first ever to surf an ocean wave on a motorcycle. And not just any wave, but one of the heaviest waves in the earth in Tahiti, a small island in the South Pacific.

Yes, you read that right. Riding a motorcycle through a wave, just like a surfer. Being a stuntman on land is itself a very tedious practice, and Robbie wants to now surf the wave on a motorcycle? That’s just bonkers.

Check out the skill Robbie has learned guys. Robbie just broke boundaries.

Video: Watch 4 superbikes making a rainbow in the sky

Seeing the title image should tell you how. Idiots or no, four rich Brazilian guys calling themselves as the ‘Rainbow Bikers’ are upto some appalling stuff with their liter-class sportbikes. In a quest to create rainbows at their pool party, they decide to use their bike’s rear wheel do the job for them.

With four BMW S 1000 RR, all costing upwards of $15,995 a piece, they decided to dip the rear end of the bikes into the pool and hang them in balance at the exhaust belly panel. The tire is in contact with the water and by hitting the rev limiter, huge amounts of water gets displaced to form a big arc of water steam that ends up creating a rainbow in the sunlight.

Video: Home made Hoverbike

Flying past the traffic might be a reality soon. We all living in the urban metropolitan cities and getting stuck in traffic might as well be a birth-right. We are always in shock and denial, and even though we knew it was coming, we always find ourselves amazed at the hour-long standstill line. You feel so helpless, and the worst thing of all is that you will not see the end of it, and when it does, you pray this will never happen to you again. But as you know, it always comes back to haunt you. Luckily for us, there is someone out there looking for our problems and finding the right solutions.

British inventor Colin Furze has posted a series of new video explaining how to build yourself a flying motorcycle (err.. also known as a hoverboard).

Icon Motorsports teamed up with professional stunt rider, Kyle Sliger to adorn their brand new Street collection of clothing and helmets and rip apart on a Kawasaki ZX-10R through city streets, car parks and even a public fountain at one point.

2018 Benelli TNT135

2018 Benelli TNT135

Add Stoppies and Wheelies To Your Daily Commute

Benelli takes a calculated risk based on the popularity of the small-displacement neo-monkeybikes in the U.S. market with the release of the TNT135. A compact 47.8-inch wheelbase sets the tone with a minimal subframe and dinky tires with a 13-horsepower plant that drives the fun with plenty of grunt to pull off all your fancy tricks and whatnot. This pit bike really toes the genre line quite nicely with all the appropriate flavors and attitude, and could possibly pose a very real threat to the established rides coming from Honda and Kawasaki. Can it compete against members of the Big Four? Let’s dig in and see.

Continue reading for my look at the Benelli TNT135.
