Toyota Avalon is entering the 2022 model year with just a few minor updates across the lineup. The biggest addition is the new XSE Hybrid Nightshade Edition offered for the first time. As a result, the 2022 Avalon will be offered in six configurations with the option of two different powertrains: XLE, Limited, Touring, XLE Hybrid, XSE Hybrid Nightshade and Limited Hybrid. Prices will range from $36,375 for the XLE version to $43,075 for the Touring version. The new XSE Hybrid Nightshade Edition will be priced at $40,700.

The Porsche 911 GT3 is the ultimate, normally-aspirated 911 and the YouTube channel AutoTopNL recently got its hands on a 992 GT3 Touring – the more street-oriented, “less shouty” version of the normally-aspirated track weapon, without the crazy aero. And while race tracks are the home of the GT3, here, we see how capable the wingless version is, on the Autobahn. Is the “purest 911” capable enough, in the age of turbocharged performance cars?

Performance luxury sedans are the perfect middle ground for those seeking comfort, practicality and performance in a single package. BMW and its M division are gearing up for a busy 2022. It’s got quite a lot of vehicles lined up for debut, like the M2, the M3 Touring, the XM, and even the iX M60. Amidst all this, we now get news that the performance arm of the German automaker is planning for a special vehicle. This is rumored to be a special edition of the BMW M4 to commemorate BMW M’s 50th anniversary. But, do you think the company will mark its Golden Jubilee with just another M4?

Bentley is offering its British customers new ways to create even more unique Bentayga SUVs. It new creation is called Outdoor Pursuits and it is in fact a collection of three specifications centered around angling, equestrian activities and canine friends.

Only 11 cars will be handcrafted in Crewe with the great outdoors in mind, so, if you plan to own one you will have to hurry up.

BMW’s slogan is “Sheer driving pleasure” and in reality, most of what has come from the brand’s M-division has managed to live up to those words. The BMW 1M Coupe, in particular, was praised by many, including Jeremy Clarkson, for being one of the best driver’s cars, ever made. However, someone decided that’s not good enough and tore out the 3.0-liter, turbocharged inline-six for a much bigger V-8. Is this individual insane or is he/she on to something? The Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo is the more practical version of Porsche’s first, modern-day EV. More importantly, from 2022, both body styles get a GTS version. Although Porsche’s most definitive model is the 911, these days it’s the Taycan that often steals the show. Porsche’s first, modern-day EV gave the Tesla Model S a worthy competitor from an established brand and now, the Porsche Taycan is blessed by the GTS moniker. How does it stack up to the rest of the lineup and does GTS still stand for the sweet spot in Porsche’s lineup?

Porsche was founded back in 1931, and 20 years later, on November 1st, 1951 it started to sell cars on the Australian market. The first car introduced to the Australians was the Porsche 356. Now, 70 years later, Porsche marks the event with the launch of the special 911 GT3 70 Years Porsche Australia Edition - a car inspired, of course, by the 356.

The model is based on the 911 GT3 with Touring Package and it is the first special edition ever created by Porsche for the Australian market.

Morgan announced its intention to build the Plus 8 GTR back in February when we got a first glimpse of the supercar thanks to a series of sketches. Now, the company announced that the first unit - out of the nine planned to be built - has finally been completed. The rest of the eight cars are all under development and they will be completed in the first quarter of 2022.

Ever since BMW launched the X7 back in 2018 everyone was waiting for an M version to follow, just like for all the other X models in the lineup. Of course, that never happened, and there is no hope to see one in the near future. Back in 2020, however, Alpina came with an alternative that was just as good if not better than the X7 M. Because of the oil crisis and stringent emissions regulations, the mid to late-1970s did not spawn many great American cars. In its 112 years on the market, Bugatti has been known for offering three important things: heritage, innovation and the finest craftsmanship. Its cars were always special in one way or another and always offered never-before-seen levels of personalization.

Today however, Bugatti announced it will take one step forward with the launch of a new bespoke customization program: "Sur Mesure". The name itself - "sur mesure" is the French word for tailored - describes what the program will be all about: offering even more customizable supercars.

Performance versions of the Ford Mustang have always been sought-after, by collectors. We have models like the original Shelby GT350 R, Shelby GT500, or BOSS 302, but for many, the top of the cherry, the big daddy, is considered to be the BOSS 429. But for all its performance credentials, the BOSS 429 had weight-distribution issues, which is why, in 1969, Ford decided to experiment with a mid-engine version of the BOSS 429, dubbed the LID Mustang.

Hoonigan has been staging some of the craziest drag races, seen on YouTube. As part of the channel’s “This vs That” series, we now get “Hoonicorn vs the World” – a series of drag battles, where Ken Block’s teenage daughter – Lia Block – who is only 14, rocks the 1,400-horsepower Mustang, known as the Hoonicorn. In the previous episode, Lia Block raced an NHRA C6 Corvette and now, she’s going up against a Hoonicorn-inspired, 2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta twin-turbo.

Regardless of the generation, the Chevrolet Corvette is often the go-to platform for epic conversions. Whether you want to recreate a classic design, like the Zagato IsoRivolta GTZ, on top of a modern chassis or create something entirely new, like the Ares Design S1, it seems the Corvette is able to take it. With this in mind, Dean “Dino” Arnold has been doing Corvette conversions for decades and has created some truly epic stuff. Moreover, he’s far from done, as he is working on three, high-performance builds, based on the C7 Corvette.

Carwow has been synonymous with staging some of the most exciting drag races, more often than not, between stock, production cars. However, the same YouTube channel, occasionally gives us a proper comparison between two high-performance vehicles – in this case, the new BMW M3 Competition and Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTAm.

Having a plethora of pixel artists that showcase their visions of future cars is tremendous. This is especially true for classic cars that need to have a modern-day successor. The 1970-1977 Alfa Romeo Montreal is one of those cars and recently, the YouTube channel, NewCarDesign has given us a rendering of what a new model could look like.

The fourth generation Mazda3 was launched back in 2019 and since then it received no major updates. Things continue unchanged for the 2022 model year, but Mazda is offering a new Carbon Edition model.

Prices for the 2022 Mazda3 will range from $20,800 for the 2.0 version with FWD to $34,400 for the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus AWD. The new Carbon Edition will be priced at $26,400 for the sedan version and at $27,400 for the hatchback.

Bentley launched a new special edition for the Continental GT and GT Convertible. The new Blackline edition was created by Mulliner and will replace all the chrome elements from the Grand Tourer with daring, black alternatives. Bentley decided to offer this new version because almost 40% of all Continental GT orders now include the Blackline treatment.

Ferrari’s first SUV, which the company refers to as an FUV, is coming along nicely. We recently shared spy footage of the car and we saw its production body for the first time, even if it’s still heavily camouflaged. We now present new footage of the four-door Ferrari, which was spotted testing in its hometown, Maranello.
