2004 - 2008 International CXT

The International Extreme Truck or the XT lineup consists of three heavy duty pickup trucks (CXT, RXT and MXT) that were sold between 2004 and 2008.

The XT models were designed to be the biggest pickups ever made. The XTs were created by taking the trailer off a prime hauler and turning into a dinosaur-looking pickup truck.

The first model introduced was the CXT which came with a massive curb weight of 14.500 lb and a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 25,9999 lb.

The CXT is built on an International 7300 chassis and is equipped with the DT 466 diesel engine. Thanks to its heavy duty engine, the truck is able to tow up to 20 tons. The CXT came with a four wheel drive system and was priced from $93,000 to $115,000.

2009 International ProStar

The International ProStar is an aerodynamic class 8 long haul truck designed to deal with heavy payloads and thousands of miles. The truck has a 6x4 or 4x2 axle configuration and is available with a choice of either Day or Sleeper cabs. The truck competes against models like the Kenworth T700, Freightliner Cascadia or Peterbilt 587.

The international ProStar is available with a choice of three MaxxForce engines that are combined with an aerodynamic design and a few efficient technologies to offer one of the lowest fuel consumption levels in the segment.

2008 International CityStar

The International City Star was introduced in 2004 and is available in two versions namely the CF500 and CF600. The truck features a cab over engine configuration and was designed as a class 4 medium duty vehicle with a GVW (gross vehicle weight) rating of up to 19.500 lbs.

The International CityStar can be used for a wide range of medium duty applications and its relatively compact dimensions give it a high maneuverability around the narrow city streets.

Under the cab, the truck is equipped with International’s VT 275 4.5-liter V6 diesel engine which offers a maximum output of 200 hp and is mated on a five speed automatic transmission.

2008 International DuraStar

The International DuraStar is a medium duty truck introduced by the company in 2002 and is available in three variants, the 4100, 4300 and 4400. All three models share the same chassis, but they have different engines, axles and payload capacities.

Thanks to a wide range of configurations, the truck has a highly versatile character and can be used for a wide variety of applications such as emergency services, towing, flatbed truck or a cargo box truck.

2012 International LoadStar

Navistar presented the new International Loadstar vocational vehicle at the Mid-America Trucking Showing in Louisville, Kentucky. With generous GVWR (gross vehicle weight ratings) which range from 37,000 – 66,000 lbs the new International LoadStar is a severe service low cab forward work truck designed to satisfy needs like the waste, concrete pumping and airplane refueling markets.

The truck comes in numerous wheelbase options ranging from 148” - 270” and is available with either 4x2 or 6x4 axle configurations. Its power comes from the MaxxForce range of engines which feature CleanBurn Emissions Technology and will also be available with optional natural gas version from early 2013. The International LoadStar will be available for orders in October 2012 through International dealers in the United States and Canada.
