With the Pagani Huayra being on the market for the better part of a decade – actually it will be a decade as of 2022 – the world has been expecting a successor. Now, we don’t exactly have all of the specifics, but a new report quoting none other than Horacio Pagani has shed some light on a few things that we can expect. The most important development is that it will remain true to its internal combustion roots with no hint of electrification in the mix.

A Saudi Arabian Investment company now owns a significant portion of Pagani, and this could be a bigger deal than you think. So far, Pagani’s have been a product of Horacio’s imagination. However, there are now two ways forward for the company and its cars. It could use the extra dough to make its cars that much more insane, possibly with some Middle Eastern flare, or it could be the production of a corporate culture that kills the very soul of Pagani to please shareholders.

Back in September 2020, F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton told he is trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible outside the track. He had told Reuters in the past that he doesn’t drive any of the cars he owns other than his German EV, the Mercedes EQC. But, less than a year later, he was spotted driving his one-off Pagani Zonda 760LH. In Hamilton’s defense, how can you not drive a Pagani when it’s available at your disposal!

Pagani launched the Huayra back in 2011. After all the 100 examples were sold out, the company followed it with four more limited-production Huayra models - Roadster, BC, Roadster BC, and the Imola. Now, to commemorate the original Huayra’s 10th anniversary, Pagani has introduced a special edition called the Pacchetto Tempesta. It is based on the Huayra BC and comes with aero and performance upgrades. For those of you wondering what ‘Pacchetto Tempesta’ means, it is Italian for ‘Storm Pack’.

The Pagani Huayra arrived on the automotive scene in 2011 as a spiritual successor to the Zonda. It derives its name from Huayra-tata, a Quetcha wind God. The company announced just 100 examples of the Huayra when launched and all of them we sold by 2015. This was followed by the Huayra Roadster, Huayra BC, Huayra Roadster BC, and the Huayra Imola. All of these are limited production models as well and Pagani will build just 100, 20, 40, and five examples, respectively.

A customer in Canada recently took the delivery of his highly-customized Roadster BC ‘Supernova,’ and we can’t stop drooling over it.

Pagani’s latest track-only weapon, the $3.7 million Huayra R, is still warm having been taken out of Horacio’s oven only recently. With 840 horsepower that has to move around just 2,314 pounds of weight, this V-12-powered beauty is a worthy sequel to the Zonda R but it leaves us with one big question: why doesn’t Pagani go racing? We know the people working there love racing, it’s noticeable at every step when you look at a Pagani yet Horacio never spent much to see the Pagani name in competition.

Pagani’s Huayra R, the car that’s supposed to be the swan song for the Huayra supercar is an 838-horsepower, V-12-powered track jewel. But for some reason, Pagani decided that’s it’s for the best to reveal the R using 3D animation and not the rear car. Which is lame.

The time has come for the aging Pagani Huayra to sing its swan song. And what a song has Pagani come up with. Meet the Huayra R, a track-only supercar that costs $3.1 million and will only be made in 30 units.

The first Huayra saw daylight all the way back in 2012. Since then, Horacio Pagani’s boutique car company has churned out different variations of the Huayra, although nothing comes close to the R.

Nine years after its debut, the Huayra is still going strong. The Pagani supercar has been the recipient of countless special edition versions over the years, and recently, Pagani teased a mysterious new model in its Facebook page that points to a new special edition Huayra. We only get a glimpse of the mystery model through a silhouette from the rear, but there’s no mistaking what this model is. This is the Pagani Huayra R.

The Pagani Huayra may be nine years old as of 2021, but it’s not going away anytime soon. The Italian company is preparing a new version of the V-12 supercar and it’s going to be the most extreme iteration yet. It’s called the Huayra R and it’s still somewhat of a mystery. Pagani just released a sound sample of its V-12 engine and it’s one of the best sounding supercars out there!

We knew something special is coming from Pagani after the Italian boutique supercar maker dropped a teaser earlier this week. In all fairness, we weren’t expecting a reveal this soon, but here it is, in all its splendor: the Pagani Huayra Tricolore.

Italian supercar maker Pagani could unveil a new vehicle on December 17. In a short teaser video released on Twitter, Pagani shows a couple of new features developed for an upcoming supercar and says we should "hold on tight" as we are about to "celebrate Air Speed" later this month. We have no clue what that actually means, but let’s have a closer look at the features showcased in the video.

First introduced in 2012, the Pagani Huayra is already eight years old as of 2020, but the Italian supercar is still alive and kicking with a hardcore R version underway. The Huayra R will be unveiled on November 12 and word has it Pagani is dropping the twin-turbo V-12 engine in favor of a naturally aspirated mill. This bespoke engine will produce in excess of 900 horsepower, meaning that the Huayra R will be the most powerful Pagani yet!

The BC is powered by the Huayra’s 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine but the power is up by 25 horsepower and there’s more torque too, all kept in check by a more aggressive aerodynamic package. Now it’s time for road racing veteran Randy Pobst to tell everyone about the time when he got to try out a member of the supercar world’s upper echelons with all the others also in attendance.

Remember that cool, black and orange Pagani Huayra Imola that damn near broke social media when TopCar released a few images? Well there’s another one that’s just as extreme, a little less colorful, and – apparently – China bound. This specific model is one of the four remaining models and all the information and pictures comes from Pagani China. More importantly, though, we’ve learned more than we’ve ever known before about this ultra-rare, modified Huayra. Hint: It’s the most powerful Pagani ever built.

One could argue that the Pagani Huayra was one of the best supercars of the 2010s, but that argument only holds water up to 2017 when Pagani unleashed the Huayra BC. It’s based on the standard Huayra but features an improved V-12 engine, revised aerodynamics, and a race-inspired interior. That V-12 under the hood is good for 739 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque (the roadster has 753 ponies) while 60 mph comes in as fast as 2.8 seconds. Since this AMG-powered beast is a very limited model, we decided we should show it some screen love and decided to make it our wallpaper of the day. Pagani isn’t the biggest supercar brand in the world. It’s not even the most popular one. But when it comes to producing extreme and hardcore limited edition models, the Italian supercar brand takes a back seat to absolutely no one. Case in point: the five-piece Pagani Huayra Imola. It’s named after the famous Italian race track that has hosted countless Formula One races in its own long and storied history. Truth be told, we’ve all been alerted of its development for some time now — it was even rumored to carry the name “Dragon” — but Pagani’s unveiling of the first of five Huayra Imolas at a private event in Switzerland still left us in a state of awe and incoherence. For good reason, too. This is the Pagani Huayra Imola, folks, and it is, quite arguably, the most extreme interpretation of the Huayra supercar we’ve ever seen. Pagani will only build five units of the Huayra Imola. We still don’t know the identities of most of the owners, but we do know that one of the five Huayra Imola models — number 1 of 5, too — belongs to Oleg Egorov, the man behind the Russian tuning outfit Topcar Design.

Pagani has established itself as one of Italy’s most well known makers of opulent super- and hypercars and part of what made its creations so popular was the V12 engine that powered them. The engine itself is made by Mercedes-AMG for Pagani, and while the current Huayra’s twin-turbo V-12 is not as loud or characterful as the naturally-aspirated V-12 heart of the older Zonda, it’s still an integral part of the experience.

But now we have news that Pagani is looking to shift its focus away from the V-12, at least in part, since its founder and CEO, Horacio Pagani, has confirmed the company is working on a fully-electric hypercar. Not only that, but Mr. Pagani has also admitted he’s been pondering whether or not to make an SUV for a long time and now that his company’s relationship to Mercedes is so tight and fruitful, he might actually push forward to make it happen.

Boutique carmaker Pagani Automobili has joined forces with CSR 2 in unveiling the stunningly sexy Huayra Roadster BC both online and offline. We’re not surprised, though, because we are living in the digital era, where people can witness events from the comfort of their couch. It goes the same with the Huayra Roadster BC’s launch - fans of the CSR 2 franchise get to try out the car on their smartphone, while the 1% and select members of the press get to see it in the metal.

Italian automaker Pagani is a rare breed in the supercar world. Unlike other exotic brands, Pagani has not only stayed relevant in the game, but it’s also thrived in it despite building only two models — the Zonda and the Huayra — in the last 20 years. The Italian automaker’s formula? Rebuilding existing Zondas and Huayras and turning them into unique one-off creations. The strategy has worked out well for Pagani as customers continue to ask unique and special modifications to the Huayra and the Zonda, and as long as the demand is there, Pagani is willing to oblige. It looks like that demand isn’t going away anytime soon so prepare yourselves for more one-off Huayras and Zondas to enter our lives in the future. Turns out, Pagani’s not done with either of these two models.

The Pagani Huayra Roadster is one hell of a car, and what makes it all the more special is that it is limited to just 100 units worldwide. The Huayra Roadster is based on the Huayra coupe and includes one huge improvement - unlimited headroom. Now, the very first example, chassis No. 001, is up for sale on James Edition. You can have it to call your own, assuming, of course, that you’re not afraid to ask how much the seller wants for it.

The world of EVs is ever growing, and as we near a time when there will be no gas to fill our tanks, we realized some of the world’s best-sounding and glorious engines will have to be ditched in favor of electric power. Think of an electric Camaro, Mustang, Corvette, or Lamborghini... does it sound good? Or rather, does it make any sound at all?

With the advent of electrification in the business of car building, you see every major manufacturer scramble to put together a lineup of eco-friendly electric vehicles as a statement of their forward-thinking plans and their bias towards the future of mobility. It all looked foolish almost 20 years ago when Honda introduced the original hybrid Insight, which was shortly followed by Toyota’s Prius, but today, this seems to be the trend that will sell. Mercedes was doing the same just a few weeks ago with its EQC, and just about any manufacturer you can think of has a mid- to long-term plan for at least hybrid, if not electric. For instance, Aston-Martin is looking forward to the year 2030, by which time the British manufacturer’s stable should be made up exclusively of electric cars. Ferrari, well-known for their devotion to making their cars sound perfect, is planning a 60 percent hybridization of its lineup in just four year’s time. You can imagine a Ferrari EV isn’t that far off in the future, then.
