When we talk about well-styled classic British sports cars, the first one to come to mind is usually the Jaguar E-Type. Then there are the lightweight cars like the MGB, Triumph Spitfire, and Austin Healey. The Marcos GT is one of those “other” cars that are slightly more obscure and not quite as well-known to most. Luckily, Jay Leno once again does a great job at introducing us to what he believes is “the most unusual and prettiest sports car of all time”, and he’s not alone.

The British manufacturer, Marcos Engineering, this week announced the world premiere of its new TSO super car at London’s exclusive Salon Prive private Luxury and Supercar Show.

Marcos TSO GT coupe sports car is making its world debut in South Australia at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide motor race. The TSO GT ran pre-race laps before a crowd estimated at over 250,000 race fans. It will now embark on a 2800 Kilometer test and evaluation program as the newley established the business, Marcos Australia, prepare the car for their local marketplace.
