Tesla

Tesla’s journey started back in 2003. The Palo Alto-based company is the top-rated EV company in the world today and is arguably the biggest EV player right now. The Musk-led company fought all the odds and did not get steamrolled by the other automakers. Tesla wanted a SEXY range of products, only for Ford to ruin the party, thus making them settle for a S3XY range. The American company has four mainstream products currently – the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y. Each of the products is doing immensely well in the market. Tesla will soon be coming out with a pickup truck and that has been the talking point of the industry. Tesla has a very strong fan following, and the same is seen even in social media. A recent report revealed that Tesla Pickup is the most talked-about truck on Twitter. The company seems to be unstoppable right now and it looks to have a bright future moving forward.

Watch A Tesla Model S Plaid Try Its Hardest to be a Submarine

The Tesla Model S Plaid successfully ventured into a pool of water and came out looking unabated; although it might have long-term repercussions

It’s a well-known fact that EVs are better swimmers than internal combustion engines. But, how much better? Are they good at just wading, or can they actually “swim”? Well, Chet from ‘Chillin’ with Chet’ tested this out on his new Tesla Model S Plaid and proved that EVs can actually even be submerged! Of course, a lot of prep went into this ‘submarine test’, so don’t even think about trying this with your electric vehicle!

Can a Tesla Model S Plaid be nailed down by a modified Porsche 911 Turbo S?

The Tesla Model S Plaid has shamed so many beloved supercars and sports cars in the past on the drag strip. It is arguably one of the hottest factory cars when it comes to drag racing. And, it only seems to be the start. The Plaid has been spied repeatedly with an Aero Package that will only improve its track and straight-line performances. While we wait for that to come, the standard Plaid has been continuing its dominance, this time taking down a 700-horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo S Other than the Rimac Nevera, is there any other worthy opponent for the Plaid right now?

A Model S Plaid prototype was spotted testing around the Nürburgring and it could either be a Track Pack or the Plaid+ that never happened!

When Tesla decided to up the ante with the Model S, it had two versions in the pipeline – the Plaid and the Plaid+. However, in June 2020, Elon Musk announced on Twitter that the Plaid+ is canceled since the “Plaid is just so good”. Seeing the Plaid, I’m quite sure no one really needs more power and performance; well, not right away, though. But, a lot of us were wondering what it would’ve been like.

If you belong to that set, then here’s some news for you. It looks like the Model S Plaid+ isn’t dead because it was recently spotted testing at the Nürburgring; or is it just a Track Pack? Whatever it is, it is exciting.

The Huracan EVO is no slouch by any means, but it was no match for the Model S Plaid. Even The Mighty Porsche Taycan Turbo S Doesn’t Stand A Chance Against The Tesla Model S Plaid

The Porsche Taycan Turbo S, the Tesla Model S Plaid’s chief rival, also couldn’t beat it on the drag strip

No matter how many times we see the Tesla Model S Plaid crush its competitors, we still can’t have enough of it. While most of its rivals lose within the first couple of seconds of a drag race, there are some which show grit and determination. One of them is the Porsche Taycan Turbo S – the best EV model that Porsche has to offer. But, I’m afraid, even that isn’t much of a competition.

Tesla may lead the market when it comes to electric cars, but there is a sector there it is pretty much absent: the supercar area. The new generation Tesla Roadster announced new and impressive performance figures, but so far it has yet to go into production.
