BMW’s tuner will present two models at the upcoming ESSEN Motor Show in Germany. The ACS4 Roadster & Coupe are based on the recently facelifted Z4 Roadster and it’s new Coupe, including the M editions.The Essen Motorshow is Germany’s version of SEMA, and these days it rivals the Las Vegas show.

At the IAA 1997, with the V8 roadster, AC Schnitzer were the first company to show that a V8 engine fits very neatly in the Z3. This concept car, which received a tumultuous reception in numerous tests by the international motoring press.

Suitability for everyday use under far from everyday conditions. Under this motto, engineers and technicians from AC Schnitzer have developed a product range based on a completely autonomous chassis and aerodynamic concept.

The basis is the BMW Z4 3.0i, in which however "no stone is left unturned". The most striking optical feature is the enclosed bodywork, now 13 cm wider, in colours orange / cream.

Psychologically, tension means excited expectation or apprehension of a proposed event which is either particularly desired or feared. Physically, tension describes a force within a resilient body. Mechanical tension (symbol s) is the force per surface unit which acts in an imaginary section plane through a body, a fluid or a gas. TENSION is also the most important instrument of playwrights and authors for motivating the viewer and reader to watch and read further.

For the power plant of the most powerful variant, the BMW Z4 3.0i a supercharger performance upgrade is "in the pipeline". A development achieved in close collaboration with the BMW Motorsport Team Schnitzer.

The BMW X5 was a real challenge for AC Schnitzer, and one which they accepted with enthusiasm. For the first time in the history of AC Schnitzer, test drives were carried out not only on the North Loop of the Nürburgring and on public roads, but also in the country with changing terrain, climbs and descents.

The second "SUV" in the BMW family has arrived, and development work is in full swing on a special accessories range to cover all areas of the vehicle.

Luxury and excellent driving properties - the BMW 7-series combines these two attributes like no other luxury saloon. Owners of this model who want even more sporting performance have come to the right place at AC Schnitzer.

Where "rebirth" of the BMW 6-series awakened deep emotions, the new BMW M6 is the embodiment of ultimate driving machine. The concept of combining two excellent cars in one model has already been successfully implemented by the BMW engineers in the M5. Now it’s a question of adapting this new design line for the BMW M6.

In principle, there’s no doubt that "the newcomer" is the worthy successor to the legendary Coupé from the 80s - the 6-series, with internal reference E63/E64, in any case has the potential of a legend: performance, elegance and dynamics.

The figure "507" has been legendary in BMW history for many years. More precisely since 1956, when A. Graf Goertz created an automotive dream, the BMW 507 roadster. Today the figure "507" again has a magic significance: this time not as a model designation but as the impressive HP figure of the new BMW V10 engine.

Aerodynamic components in sporting, elegant design, engine tuning for the 530d variants, alloy and racing rims in various sizes and styles, and numerous interesting accessories: AC Schnitzer offers a sporting tuning range for the elegant estate.

The AC Schnitzer program for the 5 series (E60) includes a power upgrade for the 530d: With the diesel performance upgrade, the 5-series gets an extra 37 HP (27 kW), which increases the maximum torque of 50 Nm and the maximum speed to 252 km/h.

The 3-series offers a superb basis for creating an AC Schnitzer ACS3 from an already excellent BMW. It is precisely this challenge which currently faces engineers and designers from Ac Schnitzer. They are developing a range which on completion will leave nothing to be desired. The first challenge is to develop a performance upgrade for the 2.0d. This will comprise a special Control Unit Program and take the power of the M47D20 TU standard engine to around 147 kW / 200 HP.

The BMW 3er Touring is here, and AC Schnitzer offers a sports range for the new estate model E91. The product range includes aerodynamic components in elegant sports design, performance upgrades and rear silencers, alloy wheels in various styles and sizes, specially set up suspension solutions and countless interesting accessories for the interior. As for all current models with 2.0d engine (M47 D20 TU) we also offer our diesel performance upgrade for the 3-series Touring. An extra control module provides a total of 147 kW / 200 HP and 400 Nm maximum torque.

For the 1.8d and the 2.0d versions of the BMW 1-series, AC Schnitzer diesel performance upgrades are already in development, taking the power - depending on engine model - up by around 25 - 30 HP. Despite the stronger power plant, the high running comfort, moderate fuel consumption and excellent stability of course remain unchanged.
