Christmas is all about being together with your family and friends, right? Well, here comes Lamborghini, showing us that the same applies to… cars. Come to think of it, Sant’Agata Bolognese’s family of models isn’t a big one, but Lamborghini has always been about more quality and less quantity. So to properly celebrate Christmas, Lamborghini set up a lifestyle-y convoy that’s been traveling around Italy to various points of interest, including the CO2-neutral Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters, the sinuous roads of Alto Adige, and Plan de Corones in the Dolomites, at altitudes of 2,275 meters (7,463 feet), and the AlpiNN restaurant run by Michelin three-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler.

The tour’s main stars were none other than Lamborghini’s V8, V-10, and V-12 powered go-fast machines: the Urus, the Huracan EVO, and the Aventador SVJ. What’s the reason to celebrate, you’re asking? Well, other than the holiday season, an unseen-before boost in sales and profitability for the carmaker. Driven by the Urus super-SUV’s popularity, Lamborghini delivered more than 8,000 cars worldwide, a hefty increase compared to the 5,750 units it shipped in 2018.

But, hey, we didn’t bring you here for boring sales reports and whatnot. You’re here to enjoy a fleet of mean performance cars flaunting their shapes and lines in some of Italy’s most stunning landscapes. Oh, yeah, the drivers weren’t afraid to take the cars out for a fun session in the snow; and if that’s not a proper way to look back on 2019 and reflect on what the new year might bring, we don’t know what is. Performance luxury sedans are the perfect middle ground for those seeking comfort, practicality and performance in a single package. And while we have gotten plenty of great examples like the BMW M5, Mercedes AMG GT63, Porsche Panamera, and others, there are those that came to us as concepts, but never delivered in the real world. Maserati was supposed to unveil its second SUV, the Grecale, on November 16th, 2021. However, because some supply problems the official launch date has been moved for sometime in the spring of 2022.

This doesn’t mean however that the company has stopped testing the next Grecale or that is not considering new versions of it. In fact our spy photographers caught the next Grecale Trofeo out for some first testing sessions. The car was even dressed in proper red Christmas camouflage.

With the pandemic still looming over our heads, 2021 was a pretty action-packed year for the auto industry. Sure, you had challenges, with automakers having to contend with issues like chip shortages, causing delays to consumers. But regardless, the show had to go on and we got some pretty cool cars making their debut, predominantly towards the latter half of 2021.

Having said that, we did see some pretty cool ICE cars, also make their debut. Now there were several cars that made headlines this year, it was very difficult to pick out the best ones, but the cars on this list definitely stood out. A few days ago our spy photographers caught the upcoming Maserati Grecale Trofeo out for a testing session dressed in red camouflage, just in time for Christmas. Now, the car dropped the red camouflage and continues its testing session in North Europe under extremely cold conditions.

Bentley is offering its British customers new ways to create even more unique Bentayga SUVs. It new creation is called Outdoor Pursuits and it is in fact a collection of three specifications centered around angling, equestrian activities and canine friends.

Only 11 cars will be handcrafted in Crewe with the great outdoors in mind, so, if you plan to own one you will have to hurry up.

The Audi RS Q8 is the most powerful SUV Audi has to offer, and just a detuned version of the Lamborghini Urus. And, despite being a heavy SUV - 5,291 pounds - it still goes from 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds. German tuner Manhart found a way to improve things even further, despite not offering any aerodynamic upgrades.

The new Acura MDX Type S establishes a few highlights for the automaker: the MDX is the first Acura SUV to wear a Type S badge, but it is also the most powerful, best-handling, and most lavishly equipped Acura SUV ever.

The 2022 MDX Type S will arrive at dealers just a few days before Christmas, so, if you have $66,700 there’s an idea for a present!

BMW’s slogan is “Sheer driving pleasure” and in reality, most of what has come from the brand’s M-division has managed to live up to those words. The BMW 1M Coupe, in particular, was praised by many, including Jeremy Clarkson, for being one of the best driver’s cars, ever made. However, someone decided that’s not good enough and tore out the 3.0-liter, turbocharged inline-six for a much bigger V-8. Is this individual insane or is he/she on to something? The Mercedes-AMG C43 – the entry-level AMG C-class – has been spotted yet again on public roads, but this time, it has shed almost all of its camo. This time around, only the front and rear fascia have been covered, but even with that, you can make out just about everything since all of the preliminary and concealing camo is gone. With so little camo, we can say with almost no doubt that Mercedes will be revealing it soon, maybe even before the end of 2021.

First off, let me point out that we know this is the AMG C43 based on the lower ride height and the larger yet fake air vents. That lower ride height comes courtesy of an even stiffer suspension, and there are true quad exhaust outlet sin the rear to go with the larger brakes and the lip spoiler on the rear decklid.

The real kicker here is that the C-Class lineup is ditching all large engines, with a turbocharged and hybridized four-cylinder being the only offering. In this case, the entry-level AMG will be losing the twin-turbo 3.0-liter engine and gaining a 2.0-liter. It’s the same M139 four-banger that’s found in the AMG A45 S, and in that model it’s good for 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque – an improvement of 31 horsepower over the outgoing model with a V-6 but a bit down on torque. This power output could change for the C43 (or perhaps C53 if a certain rumor is correct).

The good news is that we won’t have to wait for long as a debut could happen very soon with March of 2022 being the latest we’ll see it.

Just a few weeks ago, Genesis pulled the wraps off its new G90 flagship luxury sedan, but only a few exterior photos were released. This time, however, every single detail about the G90 has been revealed, including its gorgeously-design interior.

It’s a new day and time for another drag race. This time, it’s the Maserati Levante GTS taking on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S and it’s come from ‘Sam CarLegion’. When you read the specs, both the SUVs are evenly matched. The German is more powerful, but it is also much heavier, thus nullifying the power advantage. The Novitec Group is one of the biggest tuners in the world, and depending on the model it is working on, it has a different name. For example, Novitec Rosso is working on Ferrari models, Novitec Tridente on Maserati, and Spofec with Rolls-Royce models.
