The Dodge Viper is one of the most distinctive sports cars ever made. It started in the 1990s, with the idea of recapturing the spirit of the 1960s Shelby Cobra and Carroll Shelby, himself, was attached to the Viper’s development. Sadly, the last Viper rolled off the production line in August 2017, and it doesn’t look like there’s going to be a new one. And while prices have remained steady, one question remains: is it worth it? YouTube channel Raiti’s Rides gives a good answer.

Over the last decade, Dodge has been giving us all sorts of high-performance cars, based on the Challenger and Charger models. And while one of their most iconic models – the Dodge Viper – was retired a few years ago, Dodge wants to make up for it, by reviving an old performance program. It’s called Direct Connection and here’s what you can expect from it.

We are all familiar with the tuning potential of the 2JZ engine, which makes it one of the more popular engine swaps. That said, there are certain boundaries one should not be crossing. This is exactly what Mike Finnegan, from Finnegan’s Garage YouTube channel, did, as he took the rustiest 1968 Dodge Charger and put a 2JZ GTE engine in it. While it’s up for debate whether that’s worse than putting an LS into it (at least it’s a V-8) some MOPAR fans are sure to blow a fuse or two over Finnegan’s build.

What has the world come to? Just a decade ago, you wouldn’t think much of pick-up trucks in terms of straight-line acceleration. Sure, we’ve had things like the Ford Lightning or the GMC Syclone, but nowadays, you can buy a pick-up truck with well-over 600 and even 700 horsepower out the box. Nowadays, people have started noticing the Viper V-10 as the next platform capable of massive horsepower figures. With this in mind, “That Racing Channel” is giving us an inspiring YouTube video that gives the story behind the “six-second kid” and his 1999 Dodge Viper GTS that makes 3,200 horsepower.

Coming up with a car that can both give you the ultimate driver satisfaction and be a usable daily driver is a tall order. Or at least it used to be. The two contenders in today’s drag race prove that nothing is impossible. The YouTube channel Sam CarLegion has arranged for the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat and Mercedes AMG E63 S Wagon to throw down on the drag strip and see, which is the ultimate grocery getter.

The third-gen Dodge Durango has been on the market for almost a decade, and now Dodge has instilled it will Hellcat power. With 710 horses in a three-row family SUV, Dodge has put the Durango on a pedestal and has taken the center-stage in the segment. The Durango is now the most powerful factory-built SUV on the planet. For a machine this big to sprint to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds is a cardinal sin. But, what can we say; we still love it and are chuffed to bits with the announcement of the Dodge Durango Hellcat. One HELL of an engine, huh?

The 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye is the range-topping version of Charger four-door sedan lineup. An upgrade to the more familiar Charger SRT Hellcat, the Redeye borrows its looks, drivetrain, and technology from the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. And just like the coupe, the sedan includes drivetrain components from the Challenger SRT Demon. Since there won’t be a Demon version of the Charger, the 2021 SRT Hellcat Redeye is the most powerful version of the American sedan. What’s more, it’s also the fastest and most powerful mass-produced sedan in the world. Let’s find out more about it in the review below.

The 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock is the special-edition, SRT-tuned version of the Dodge Challenger. Developed for racing at the drag strip, but still road-legal, the 2021 Challenger SRT Super Stock bridges the gap between the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye and the Challenger SRT Demon.

In short, the Super Stock is pretty much an upgrade package for the Redeye model. Fitted with a supercharged, 6.2-liter V-8 engine rated at 807 horsepower and capable of hitting 60 mph in 3.25 seconds, the 2021 Challenger SRT Super Stock is described by Dodge as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car. Just when you thought the Dodge Challenger couldn’t get any more mental, the SRT Super Stock arrives with its chest puffed out and already claiming the title of the world’s fastest and most powerful muscle car. Wider than the SRT Hellcat Redeye and sporting fat and sticky radial tires, the Challenger SRT Super Stock upends the Redeye as the most powerful muscle car in the world. It comes with the same powerhouse engine, but output is tuned to 807 horsepower. The Super Stock joins the demented Challenger SRT Demon as the only two muscle cars with more than 800 ponies on tap.Dodge hasn’t mentioned a price tag for the Super Stock, but expect it to cost a little more than the Hellcat Redeye’s $80,190 sticker price, and order books should open summer of 2020.

The current-generation Dodge Charger is a bit long in the tooth. Introduced in 2011, it’s already nine years old as of 2020, and some argue that the 2015 facelift didn’t bring notable improvements beyond the looks and some extra tech. But Dodge did offer an SRT Hellcat model, which proved that the old Charger is not yet ready to surrender. Now, the FCA-owned brand takes things up a notch with the SRT Hellcat Redeye. Basically a sedan version of the Challenger with the same name, the Charger finally gets some bits and pieces from the extreme Challenger Demon. Granted, it’s a full-fledged, drag-ready Demon, but it’s the most extreme current-generation Charger you can buy. And if that’s not enough for you, it’s also the most powerful and fastest sedan in the world!

With the prices of cars increasing, a $20,000 used sports car has become harder to obtain these days.
