A few updates make the SR10 a lot safer on the track

After being announced for the first time back in November 2020, the Radical SR10 is already due for some changes. The 2022 model year is going to offer significant safety updates, plus many standard and optional new features. The model is now available for order, with the first deliveries expected to start in the first quarter of 2022. There is no word on the prices just yet, but the previous model year was priced at £126,000.

For the 2022 model year, the SR10 includes significant updates, starting with new cast uprights that will offer greater durability and a longer service life. The company is also offering suspension upgrades and new camber shims. These changes will allow customers to adjust the car’s height and tailor the SR10 to personal driving style.

As an option, all SR10 models can be equipped with a "halo" - a safety structure that sits above the driver’s head to protect him from impact.

There is also a new raised steering column to aid ergonomics and improve driver visibility, an optional power steering upgrade and a larger driver’s seat.

The car goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and up to a top speed of 180 mph.

Joe Anwyll, CEO said: “The 2022 updates deliver step changes in driver safety, driveability and durability giving our customers the confidence to post faster lap times for longer periods of time. As we approach the company’s 25th anniversary in 2022, we plan to continue the accelerative pace of growth driven by desirable new product, world class dealers and our products’ position as the race car of choice at North American private member circuits.”
