GMC has unveiled the Canyon AT4 OVRLANDX concept at the Overland Expo Mountain West. As the name suggests, it is based on the Canyon’s off-road trim, the AT4. Overlanding is a niche that’s picking up pace quite rapidly and automakers are offering accessories for the same. The OVRLANDX concept is developed keeping this in mind and it comes with goodies that will make your camping experience even better. Also, it comes with a lot of off-road equipment, thus elevating the AT4 trim as a whole.

As though these things were not enough to distinguish the OVRLANDX concept from the standard AT4, GMC also went ahead and slapped a unique grille and headlamp finishes on the outside. On the inside, the concept is upholstered in leather.

Powering the truck is the same 3.6-liter, V-6 engine that puts out 308 horses and 275 pound-feet of twist. Power is channeled to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
